Bali - Day 2

The second day was better. The journey continued during the night and we passed it by watching movies.

In the morning the buses arrived at a restaurant near a beach. I ate my breakfast and went straight to the beach taking some photos.
It was real nice actually.

After that, the journey continued. The buses reached a dock to travel across island.
We traveled from Java island to Bali island. It was a slow process. I was bored waiting. On the ships, people were taking photos. I prefer the beach to the ship. But, the sky was wonderful.

The ship reached the shore and we got down the ship. I was really tired sitting all day on my bus, but I must endure it as the journey continued.

Again, I had lunch at a restaurant near a beach. I also took some photos, experimenting my camera to shoot landscapes.

The fun began when we arrived at the hotel. It was called Palm Beach Hotel.
I got down, took my belongings, searched my room, rested a bit, then the fun began.
I and my roommates began our adventure. We walked outside the hotel and went to a beach nearby, later we knew the beach was called German beach. We walked alongside the shore enjoying the night view. The rain began to fall down. Just for a short time though. We enjoyed it.

When we thought that we walked far enough, we walked back. Stopped by near a prestigious hotel. Enjoying the hotel view.
I just walked back and had my sleep.

It was better than the first day, wasn't it?

I'll post the picture later.

Bali - Day 1

It was Saturday 10th January 2009, when I woke up early in the morning to go to Bali.
I had prepared my stuff the day before Saturday. Brought one suitcase, one backpack, and my beloved camera. One big suitcase was for my clothes, one backpack was for my clothes which i used to take a bath during the trip-before reaching the hotel, and of course my beloved camera was to take lovely pictures of Bali.

I reached my school at 7 in the morning. My friends had already been there before i arrived. About a half to a hour waiting for the others to arrive, I searched my bus, put my bag, sat, and talking to my friends.

As soon as all of the students had come, we started our journey to east, to Bali.
I did nothing in the bus, except reading and talking. It was monotonous moment. The view was just nothing out of ordinary.

At noon we arrived at a restaurant where we got our lunch.
Almost all the students were still so stiff. They lazily took their lunch.
After a short time of talking to each other, the journey continued.
The view was a little different from before. It was forest to our left and right. But for me, it was still no different because I have passed that road many times.

When the night arrived we stopped again to have our dinner. Here I took a bath in a small rest room. Took a bath, ate my dinner, sat again on my chair in my bus.

After that, it was just dark.
In the bus I just watched the videos which have been showed by my friends.

That was my boring first day.

The photos were taken at the restaurant where I had my lunch.

Books

Books they are the window of the world.
To see the world, it is definitely easier to see it through the window, than to really go outside and venture the world.
Books are also cheaper to get than to venture the world, visiting those wonderful site.
This is in the context wonderful site. How about in the context of science? Entertainment? Practical knowledge?
Books are sure more beneficial-easy to get-than pursuing those in reality, in other form different than book.

I, as a person pursuing to become better person as time passes, am a huge fan of book.
What a wonderful time was my holiday.
I'm holding many great books.

Now, I want to share one of my wonderful books.
Titled "Maryamah Karpov" part of the legend, I know it is hyperbolic, but yeah, started by a book titled "Laskar Pelangi", translated in English as "The Rainbow Legion"
It started with "Laskar Pelangi", continued by "Sang Pemimpi"-"The Dreamer", "Edensor", and ended with "Maryamah Karpov".
Those are local books in my country written by a person named Andrea Hirata.
I don't know if those books have already translated into English or not.
If not, I'm planning to translate it. Those books are just wonderful.

Generally those books sharing theirs written adventure from nothing to he is now.
I laughed and cried through the books. It wasn't just because of the story, but the words which were amused me.
I personally think Andrea as the artist of words.

Those books showed struggle, dream, passion, knowledge, never-ever-give-up personality to me.
I touched by the books. Therefore I decided to change myself to a better person.
I passed a good time with those books.

Geez. I keep telling you how great those books are.
Sometime in the future I'll tell you the synoptic because next post is still going to be my colorful holiday =)

C ya.

Welcome Back ^_^

Geez. Finally I can write again.
Many things made me couldn't write.
It's been a long time.
